Another Adventure Begins
A few weeks ago, I took some time to reflect on 2021, listing all the highlights and low-lights I could think of. This year was anything but uneventful. And although it brought its share of pain and adversity, I quickly realized I had much to be grateful for: discovering local gems, learning new things, career opportunities, exploring national parks and spending time with loved ones (some furrier than others). Then the fall brought an unexpected surprise, a sign of great adventure unlike any other. Not the kind that involves a tent and climbing gear but one that requires some thoughtful planning and eventually will result in a handful of new gear.
